The GlycoShea Lotions are remarkable in that they marry the beauty of a botanical moisturizer - Shea Butter - with some of the purest natural water in the United States - from the Memphis Sands – and the antiwrinkle cream properties of an AHA or Alpha-hydroxy Acid – Glycolic Acid – originally discovered in sugarcane and pineapple. We blend these organic and natural creams into a smooth emulsion, fragrance-free, dye-free, sulfate-free, parabens-free, and gentle enough to be used several times a day – as a protective moisturizer while also acting as an anti-wrinkle cream (antiwrinkle cream ) - smoothing the appearance of fine lines, improving skin texture and color.

As a Memphis Dermaotlogist, I have used Glycolic Acid products to help my patients with Melasma, a change in skin pigmentation that can be hormonal or related to excessive sun exposure, or use of tanning beds. Glycolic Acid tends to also be helpful for Acne and a sensitive skin condition called Keratosis Pilaris, sometimes called “chicken skin,” because it improves skin color, texture, and tone.
The GlycoShea Lotions can be combined with another featured product of Big River Silk Skincare, our AmberSoy™ Soap Gel, a deep cleanser well-suited to combination skin or oily skin. Available in Lemon, Mint, and No Fragrance Added, AmberSoy can be used as a facial or neck mask: applied for 3-10 minutes prior to rinsing off, for a particularly deep clean.
